Guest speakers will be invited to inform the group on

Psychiatrists
Psychiatrists are able to
diagnose adult ADD/HD and other disorders of thought and emotion,
prescribe medication, and refer patients to other services as required.
Psychologists
Psychologists can assess IQ, behaviour, general development, and
educational strengths or weaknesses. Many provide counselling,
behavioural and/or cognitive therapy, and social skills training.
Psychologists are not able to prescribe medication.
